The TCP 227454PK Battery Backup LED Exit Sign with Green Letters is a reliable and efficient emergency exit light that comes in a pack of four. Its injection-molded thermoplastic ABS housing has a UL 94V-0 flame rating and a snap-together design for easy installation. The directional chevron inserts are replaceable and the green letters are 6” in height with a 3/4” stroke. The double face configuration allows for universal mounting on walls, sides, or ceilings. The low energy consumption of only 2.0 W at 120v is due to the LED lamps mounted on a printed circuit board that operate in both normal (AC input) and emergency (DC input) modes. The maintenance-free Ni-Cd battery has an estimated service life of 10 years and can withstand temperatures ranging from 10C to 40C. The exit sign is ETL listed for damp locations and meets NFPA 101, NEC, and UL924 approvals. Additionally, it has a 24-hour recharge time after a 90-minute discharge and a low voltage battery disconnection to prevent deep discharge damage.
