These Photocell Sensors - sometimes known as Light Sensors or dusk to dawn Photo Controls - are becoming more and more common in industrial, commercial and residential areas to help save energy, money, and increase the life time of the lamp or product they are in control of. Photocell Sensors do this by detecting light levels to determine if the sun is setting or rising, and then turns the fixture on or off depending on the requirement. This type of technology is incredibly useful for street lights, security or landscape lighting.
